Friends Gathering on Saturday

Yesterday I received a sms in the afternoon from Andy, saying that he is in KL and asked me if I am free to meet him up or not. Of course la... friends all the way from Penang, even I am not free, still I need to find time to meet up with him and Swee Li...

So I gathered Lee Ping and Ai Ling together as well for the gathering this morning. The more the merrier ma. Hahahah... Toon is in Japan now on a business trip, so cannot join us.

Early morning I went to Hotel Royale Bintang at The Curve to pick both of them up. Then drove them to One Utama to meet up Ping and Ling... Hehe, after walked for a while, we found one restaurant name 'Delicious' at New Wing and sat down 'yum cha', and of course, chatting over nothing important. Hahaha.. Chat and chat.. from late breakfast become lunch... After that we continued some window shoppings till the time I need to fetch my hubby back from work around 3pm.... Ping and Ling went back on separated ways. After fetched hubby, we brought Andy and Swee Li to eat the 'Chilli Pan Mee' at Sunway Damansara before send both of them back to hotel... Andy seemed to enjoy the chilli pan mee very much.

A Happy Saturday for me ~~ Hope to see them more often in KL ya. Hahaha :)

(The Most Romantic Thing)

Today I at home continue my production of our wedding 'Thank You Cards'. Still left some not yet finish punching. So I need to work harder as wedding date is getting nearer. Hehe... Suddenly think of this song... So I downloaded it and repeated playing the song while creating the cards. Too bad, hubby does not really can understand Mandarin. If not, I really wish to let him know that '我能想到最浪漫的事, 就是和你一起慢慢变老'! Hehehe...

Song Title: 最浪漫的事(zui lang man de shi)

Cousins Gathering cum Sern's Birthday

Last night I went to The Curve... Sern was here in KL and gathered us to meet him up for dinner. He booked the dinner at Bubba Gump, so we had our gathering cum his birthday celebrations there.

Attendance: Tai-ko and wife (Jaime), Sern, Yeling, Zhi Shan, Chong, Alan and Me.

A very nice and warm dinner gathering... Talked a lot of jokes and chatted over nothing important. Haha, as usual, this is what we do everytime we meet up or get-together. Hehehe.. Even though Bubba Gump was very crowded last nite, but I think, our laughters can be heard at everywhere. Haha :)

After the dinner, we continued to have some drinks at Starbucks... Continue chatting and talked on our latest updates. Went back home around 11pm. Really miss this kind of gathering. Hope can have more in the future.

Thank you, Sern, for the dinner!! Happy Birthday to you, and wish you many, many happy returns! Hahaha.. See you again in December on my wedding...

Some of the photos taken last nite:

Comments on Bubba Gump: Food so-so only, nothing really great but then food really look delicious, however taste normal. The drinks there quite nice but desserts nothing great to shout about although they look colourful. Hehehe.. Maybe for those who never try before, can walk in and give it a chance as the restaurant itself looks very nicely decorated. Environment not bad, suitable for big gatherings...

My Brother's 21st Birthday

Hubby and I went back Pontian yesterday... We had 2 important things to do at Pontian. Hehehe.. One is to celebrate my brother's 21st birthday with my family... another one is to witness our 'Fatt See Kong Kow Beow' new temple Opening Ceremony.

Alan's birthday was celebrated at Pe-Pe and Ah Mmm's house as mum and dad were busy preparing for the new temple opening ceremony. A lot of preparations need to be arranged at the temple but mum and dad still managed to drop by a while to sing birthday song for Alan. We had a small and yet warm family gathering...

Thank you, Pe-Pe and Ah Mmm for the Nasi Briyani and your house for the birthday party!!
Thank you, mum and dad for the buffet food!! (Hehe.. we only ordered 4 dishes as we did not had a big group, scare the food cannot finish).
Thank you, Shin Ru and Fang Yew, for buying the fruits and the rest of the preparations!!
As for me, hehehe... I thank myself for the drinks!!

'Money No Enough II' ~ Song: 家後 (妻子)

Yesterday I went to watch movie 'Money No Enough II' with my hubby... Well, to me, a comedy and yet very touching story. A movie which shows the reality of life. Perhaps those who not yet watch before, can give this movie a chance, pay the ticket and walk in to watch... I think should be no regrets... After watching, I think you will learn how to cherish your love ones more...

Maybe some of you might heard one of the songs in the movie before (in a Taiwanese drama), but I still very like it and find that this song really nice to listen and very meaningful lyrics. A hokkien song, so some people might not be able to understand it, but is ok. I got the Hokkien lyrics from the internet and so happened that I got the translated version in another people's blog. So I wish to share it in my blog... I really hope that one day when I am old, I can recollect my younger days together with my hubby... For those who can understand the hokkien version, I am sure you all will like this song as much as I do...

Song Title:
By: 江蕙

Hokkien lyrics

English version
If one day we turn old, and no child to filial us
I will sit with you, and listen to you reminiscing your younger days
I won’t mind about the quality of life we lead, nor blame fate or you
I will hold your hand tightly, and that’s because I am your wife
I gave my youth to your family, and been with you since younger days till we turned old
I have seen thru life, and nothing is more important than you
I gave my whole life to your family, and realise those little tiffs were actually our happiness
And If one day, our time is up, I will let you go before me
That’s because I can’t bear to see you, shedding a single tear for me
If one day we turn old, and our descendants are filial to us
Take a look at our photographs if you feel bored, and see how handsome you were then in younger days
I wont mind about the quality of my clothings, nor blame a single thing
And I will forever remember your love for me, and that’s simply because I am your lawful wife...

Our Honeymoon ~ Kunming/Dali/Lijiang

From young, I always wanted to go Dali, Yunnan one day when I can afford it... Never did I dream that my hubby is suggesting to me going to this place for our honeymoon in December. What a coincidence... Hehe, so when I heard him suggested this place to go in China, I secretly smiled inside my heart... Yes, this might be our honeymoon place... A place I have been longing to go all these while...

This morning after we woke up, planning to go Matta Fair to have a look, to see any good deals or not.. At first we have 2 places in mind, Dali/Lijiang OR Korea... Or maybe who knows, might be Taiwan... But then, hubby doesn't like Taiwan, but is ok, we can just go Matta Fair see-see look-look... Hehehe... Nothing in mind to buy initially.

Maybe we reached PWTC quite early, about 11 something, so not really crowded, and parking were also available. Very convenient... No need queue up to buy tickets. As our choices had been limited to only a few, so our tour hunting job seemed to be not difficult also. We went to find a few choices for Dali and Lijiang, so shocking that these venues are not cheap worr.. We at first thought that China trips should be cheap lor.. who knows, the places we asked, all about RM3k++... Then surveyed around for Korea + Cheju Island, tour fees also not cheap, about RM4k++. Taiwan + Alisan also about the same price... We went to those more established tour agencies to ask for quotations, in hoping that we won't get cheated...

So after we compare the prices and places, read a bit on the itinery, and finally, we decided on signing-up the 'Kunming/Dali/Lijiang' tour!! Coz we wanna see more sceneries during the tour than shopping trips. Hehe.. I am so happy... Never really think of we are going for honeymoon after wedding, coz we want to save more money to buy our house in the near future.

Hubby, thank you ya!!! So sweet of you today :) I really thought we are just going to Matta Fair to join the crowd for sightseeing only... But you ended up surpised me with by signing-up our honeymoon package on the spot. I can't wait for the day to arrive... Hope the tour agency can get enough people to cover for the tour we are joining. Hehehe....

Our tour itinery is as below:

Anyone interested to join us?

Vietnamese Cuisine at Mid Valley

Friday night after work, hubby fetched me to Mid Valley, paid our monthly utility bills there and had dinner. After visiting the Modern Home Fair at the convention center, we walked around searching for food. Then we decided on trying the Vietnamese restaurant.

Hubby ordered for himself a Hotpot Prawn set and I ordered a Village Chicken set and a cup of vietnamese coffee. Well, food considered ok, hubby's hotpot better than mine. Next time can order and try-try... Ambience also not bad and their business can be considered good worrr... It is a Friday and the tables are almost fully seated.

Before the food came, the waiter chopped this mark on our table and said it will bring us good luck !!

Hotpot Prawn set

Village Chicken set and Vietnamese coffee

Venue: Co Do, Lot T-052, Level 3, Mid Valley.

Sunday morning ~ Yes, I awake at 7am!!

Donno why... I can't sleep on a Sunday morning... No need to work worr, and yet I woke up so early, really cannot figure why. Alamak, turn here and there on bed, still cannot fall back to sleep. So decided to wake up and update my blog...

Nothing much to write worr... Then browsing though my camera, oh ya.. can write about some food I went to eat on last Friday. I went out appointment with my boss on last Friday at Cyberjaya, on the way back office, we drop by a looks quite decent chinese restaurant for lunch. As only 2 of us, so we ordered only 2 dishes, one is fried fish in lotus leaf and another dish is the steam eggs. Both dishes also very delicious!!! Difficult to explain where is the exact location, as we so happened to pass by it when boss drove into Putra Heights...
