Mother's Day Weekend

This year, I spent my Mother's Day at Taiping. I had a fruitful weekend with my two lovely boys and also to celebrate Mother's Day with my family.

The Mother's Day Cake which I ordered from 'Free Mori' ~ It is really very nice! MIL and Kimi ate 2 pieces each. Both of them enjoyed the most! Glad that MIL likes the cake too. I myself also ate 2 pieces! Haha :)

I spent a quality and lovely weekend with my sons. Never realize Kimi has grown up so much in such a short time... It seems like only yesterday I was holding him with only one arm, and today he can run in the park, cycle his bicycle and play the slider by himself ^^ How time flies! Seeing him grows up happily is one of my biggest achievements ~

Wish both my boys grow up healthily always!

Free Mori

I came across some roadside buntings promoting ‘Free Mori’ early last week. I got curious over it as it only showed the words ‘Free Mori’ without any explanations on it . It really attracted me in some ways. Then I came across one of the buntings which shows the grand opening date only. But then where is this ‘Free Mori’ located? This question finally had an answer when I drove to SS2 for lunch a few days ago.

I saw ‘Free Mori’ signage!! Very curious over it and after found a parking lot, I walked to the shop. So surprise to see some crowd in the shop. It is full with very beautiful decorated cakes and pastries and also nice smell of bread!! I bought a few pastries there. Really very delicious! The price a bit more expensive compare to the other bakeries nearby / same row, but the quality of the pastries are so much better. I personally very like it :)

The photos above explain everything… I went there for 2 consecutive days. I will definitely go back again as I order a Mother’s Day Cake from this bakery. Hope the cake will taste nice… ~ Happy Mother’s Day to all the MOTHERS!! Stay Young and Happy Always ~

FREE MORI (SS2)
Address: No. 43, Jalan SS2/64, 47300 Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
Tel: 03-7873 0212

(It is located same row as Bank Muamalat, Guardian, Save Mart, Baby Land, Baker’s Cottage at SS2)

Do give it a try if you happen to be at SS2! They do serve very nice drinks too ~

Chocolate Walnut Mini Cupcakes

After so many years stayed in a rented house, I stopped baking for so many years... Finally, I have moved into my own house with an oven which allows me to bake whenever I want. Really very happy! I am doing what I have been liking all these while ♥ Hope I can learn to bake more delicious cakes for my lovely families in the near future ~

Last night, I took out the old-looking recipe book of mine with loads of dusts on it. The dusts were there since many years back and finally, I have decided to give it a clean! Browsing through the dusty recipe book brings back so much memories for me... I am missing those time when I baked together with my Mum and sisters back in Pontian!

07.05.2012: Today I tried out the Chocolate Walnut Cake recipe which I used to bake it many years ago... First attempt after so many years, and luckily they turned out successfully :) Hubby is the first lucky person who gets to taste it. He is a person who does not like to eat cakes, but then he is willing to try it out for me. Glad that he finds the cupcake taste nice! He says can bake for Kimi to try too ~

Finally... A Place Where We Call It 'HOME'

After a few busy months, we finally moved into our own 'Home-Sweet-Home'. I had been very busy to cope with work and at the same time packing, unpacking and cleaning up the new house. Finally, things have been quite settled down, except for some boxes which I not yet manage to unpack yet. Hope that once I have rested enough, I can unpack them soon :)

We officially moved in on the 23rd April 2012. We had a small ceremony at the new house. Hubby's Ah Ma also came all the way from Taiping to join us in the ceremony too. So glad to have her around :) MIL also cooked a table of delicious food to serve some of the relatives who turned up on that day. My parents also came too. What a joyful day!

We had a small house warming at home on 29th April 2012. We invited our relatives and some friends to join us in the fun. But then I was too busy till I forgot to take photos for them. Only managed to take a few photos before the party started...

Finally, I have my own 'Home-Sweet-Home' with my Lovely Family ~ SWEET!
