It was a rainy morning on our second day at Seoul. We couldn't go anywhere
besides sitting in the hotel to wait for the rain to stop. Luckily our hotel is
very convenient. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf coffee house is located at
Level 2 in the hotel. So, we spent our morning there while waiting for the rain
to stop.
We tried to walk out when the rain slowed down as we did not want
to waste our time :) We went to do some window shopping at the nearby Lotte
Department Store. After spent a few hours there while waiting for the rain to
stop, we decided to visit the N Seoul Tower.
As the N Seoul Tower is very near to our hotel, we have decided to
walk there instead of taking public transport. Haha... And it is really quite
near, just a main street away.
In Myeongdong, you can
easily spot the tourist information guides walk around wearing in RED colour
shirt and hat. These tourist information guides will walk around the streets of the
Myeongdong to assist in providing tourism information, translation services and introductions to various tour routes. So to travel around in Seoul by
yourself is not really a difficult task with the assistance from them! They are indeed very helpful.

N Seoul Tower -
By Subway - Myeongdong Station (Line 4) Exit 3.
Then you need to walk for around 20-30 minutes (our walking duration with kids), following the street of the right side of the Pacific Hotel.
It was really a very tiring walk with the boys and we climbed up the hill road to reach the Namsan Cable Car station.

Another challenging task after the cable car ride, was to bring the boys to climb up to the peak using staircase. It was really a very good exercise for me! I carried Nico all the way with me and it was a really super tiring climb... NO JOKE!

Finally, we reached the peak!

As Hubby did not want to visit the Observatory, so we saved some money
from there. His thoughts were that the boys were too young now to experience
this... Money was not well spent on here. Instead of going up to the
Observatory with the boys, he suggested to me to spend our evening at the Café
enjoying a cup of hot tea and cold dessert while waiting for my sister’s family
to complete their visit. We had a leisure time walking around with the cold
weather at the peak. And the boys enjoyed their time running around! Hehe :)

Another
tourist attraction accomplished on Day 2! HAPPY with the boys ~

Melissa, Free & Easy is much easier.. as we can sleep until enough only wake up to walk around. At least the boys can have enough rest before continue the sightseeing with us :)

Hi, am enjoying reading your blog.
Am going to Korea by this Dec. Staying at the same hotels in Myeongdong as yours. Do you mind to share with me your itinerary? Meantime, how do you transfer from airport to Myeongdong (vice versa) with the kids?
