29th Of The Month

Today is really a happy day! We always will try to eat together on every 29th of the month. Today we have a lot of reasons to celebrate and hubby said will bring me go eat good food. I so happy when I hear that. Haha... Firstly, today he finally finished the last paper (5th Paper) of his exams, with all the 5 papers got full marks!! Hehe... my smart hubby... Although I also donno what certificate is that, I still feel happy for him. Secondly, today his boss told him, he got increment starting next month onwards. Although not a big amount la, still is increment ma. Still is money... *Clap*Clap* So happy for him. At this time of economy, still can get some increment, consider lucky lor. Thirdly, today is 29th of the month....

So, today after work, I went to meet Cecilia at The Curve. She is one of the wedding gowns supplier from Penang. I went to try the wedding gown which I had ordered from her earlier. Quite nice la.. I also brought 2 friends with me to see the gowns... Donno they like it or not. They did try on a few designs as well...
Hubby followed me to The Curve too. We walked around looking for which restaurant to eat for dinner. Surveyed around and we finally decided to give the 'La Gourmet House' a try. The food there look nice on the menu. After browsing through, we placed our orders. Hubby ordered himself a set of Grilled Chicken Mortadella Sausages and I ordered myself the Signature Dish there, Anthonys Sausage & Pasta. Hubby keeps on praising his food very delicious, and my pasta also very nice lor!!! They cooked it in a very different way, unlike those normal pasta we used to eat. Taste unique and nice. We sit at outside the restaurant with some live band opposite the restaurant. Hehe, so we have free music to listen while enjoying our dinner. Nice ambience...

Thank you, hubby, for always willing to buy me nice food!!

My Pre-Wedding Photo Shoots at Romantic Bridal Studio

Finally, the day which I have been longing for so many months has just over... Today I finished my 2nd day of pre-wedding photo shoots. Today's process was so much easier compared to yesterday. Only 2 gowns left. Me and hubby reached Romantic around 4pm. When we reached, there were two other couples also shooting there. So we queued to take turn for make-up... Hehehe...

I started off with the Victoria Image. Gown is beautiful and the make-up is nice. Thanks to Iris again, for making me beautiful for another day. After done with the make-up, me and hubby climbed up to the penthouse to shoot the Victoria Image background. A very unique and special venue... I very like it... Wonder how they created and designed it ya... so special!!

After that, I changed to another gown. This round is hubby's favourite gown. A modern look 'qi-bao' I named it. He said I looked very elegant in it. Very nice... We really like the hairdo Iris designed for me. Very, very special and beautiful. Never thought that one day I can be that beautiful... Hahaha... Now I am considering whether to take this out on AD or not... Hubby and I like this gown soOoo much!

Everything finished around near to 8.00pm.... Another enjoying day!! I will definitely miss these 2 days of pre-wedding photo shooting experience... Once in a lifetime only and it is really a memorable one!

A SUPER BIG THANK YOU to the great team at Romantic Bridal House!

Oh ya, some of the 'behind the scenes' photos can be viewed at:

* Oh.. a minor mistake I made yesterday... Actually the Ah-B hor, his actual name should be Ah Lee... Today I have verified it. Haha...

Beautiful Sunset at Sepang Gold Coast

It was a tiring day, but really worth the time spending... I thought the first thing I would do after I am back from the pre-wedding photo shoot is to bath and sleep. Although I am very tired now, I really wanna write down everything on what I can remember so far on my photo-shooting experience... so that I am able to read and recollect the memories whenever I am free.

My Bridal Studio ~ ROMANTIC ~ They really hava a good team of staffs... Nice people, profesional photographer, experience make-up artist and most of all, the beautiful sunset... I thank God for everything arranged for us today. I prayed for a good weather since the past few days, and I am so happy today that I really had it. And of course, not to forget to thank all my good 'ji muis', thanks for the good wishes, I think the blue sky, the clear cloud and the beautiful sunset really heard that.... That's why I had a good day today!!!

I woke up at 6.40am today, did my eye mask before I get ready for everything. My dearest hubby slept quite late last nite, studied for tomorrow exams. So this morning I also woke him up quite late, around 7.30am. After everything was done, it almost 8.20am. So, we drove to Romantic at KL together with my dearest cousin, Lit Han. He is my 'behind the scene' photographer today cum videographer. Luckily I have him, making all the 'behing the scenes' photos taken without worries, as hubby and I was busy making ourselves look beautiful.... Lit, a BIG thank you to YOU!!

Not long after we reached, I think outside was raining. But it was ok as we started our indoor shooting first. Things started very smoothly, one gown by one gown we changed and took photographs. Hubby had all the matching shirts from the bridal studio to match my beautiful gowns... He is soOoo handsome, haha... even the photographer also praised him. But, maybe the photographer a bit too perfectionist, so timing a bit out. He was so detailed in every scenes and shots he took, just to make us look beautiful.... We ended up didn't get to finish taking all the gowns the bridal house had prepared for me. Time is a bit rush for us if we really squeeze to shot all the gowns for today as we still need to drive to Sepang Gold Coast which is around one hour plus from here. So, for indoor shooting, I have 2 more gowns to go, so need to continue tomorrow afternoon around 3pm.

Around 3.20pm, we drove to Sepang Gold Coast.... We reached there around 4 something. Sun was very bright but it was just too hot... But is good, better than a rainy day. Shooting started again. This round was outdoor shooting. The first venue reminds me of my Pontian's house... Heheh.. wooden bridge with muddy beach. Feel quite at home.... Just that donno whether our photos will turn out to be full of sweat or not. Hahaha... donno the make-up melted or not :)

Do we look like superstars? With the make-up artist and the 2 bodyguards behind us... Hahaha... Looks like we are shooting a movie hor...

After that, another outdoor gown I changed. This round was a very casual dress... Beautiful and smooth sandy beach is the venue. We came to the Sepang Gold Coast resort I think, not too sure, hehe.. as all the buildings and toilets were so clean, the grass and walkways also nicely built... A nice garden they have too... Up and down, stand and sit,.... whatever poses they photographer named, we just follow...

Lucky they have quite smooth sandy beach.... making the walkings very easily... But once in a while, we did accidentally fall down from the higher part of the sands, making the whole process a bit funny. But hubby and I really enjoyed every moments of it.... Hehehe... Shootings and shootings... until the sunset finally arrived!!! A moment I have been waiting for so long...

It was really a big and round sunset! I softly whispered in my heart, luckily I witnessed this lovely sunset together with my dearest hubby at this very special moments in my life. I always love beaches and sunsets... That is the main reason hubby chose this outdoor venue for me...

Photo shooting ended with one photo which hubby carried me on his arms.... Donno how is the photo going to turn out to be. The photographer only captured one shot of it, donno can or not ler, but I really very looking forward to this photo. This is the hardest pose of the day. Really hope it will be nice. I gonna choose it as one of the photos in my wedding album if can. If not, haha... wasted my hubby's energy by carrying a 'fat' wife on him.

While on the way to change our normal clothes, we met a group of tourists also shooting photos there themselves.... I think should be local Malaysia tourists, as all the aunties also speak Hakka among themselves. But they spoke to me in Mandarin. They thanked us, for bringing them luck to be able to view such a beautiful sunset. Haha... they are so friendly and funny!! They wished us 'Happy Marriage' before they walked back for their dinner at a restaurant there.

My pre-wedding shoot ended near to 8.00pm. On our way back home, it was drizzling. Phew, luckily shooting has ended. We were indeed very lucky for the good weather throughout the whole process. Tomorrow will be another half day... We will go to Romantic after hubby finish his exams.

I really enjoy my day today and I think my hubby too...

Thank you, to Iris (my make-up artist of the day), Max (the photographer) and another assistant (but I forgot his name - seem like is called Ah-B)!!! Thank you for spending your time with us, your effort and your professionalism.... I witnessed it today myself.

* I will upload the photos when I get it from my cousin... Not today definitely... The photos are with him now and I am going to sleep soon.

A busy Friday on 18th July!

Today really a busy day for me... I have some urgent work at office, so I have told my hubby to drive himself to work...Maybe because too busy, I didn't hear my sms or phones ringing around 9am, and on the other side, hubby met a minor accident at Sprint Highway on his way to work and was trying to contact me. After that, he called me again when he reached office, told me about his accident story. Lucky is just a minor one, and he was alright.. Car is just some minor scratches, but the other party whom he banged into, the car bumper dropped off abit.

Well, I have arranged with colleagues a few days ago, to try a new 'Char Chan Teng' at Kota Damansara for lunch on Friday too... So we went there. Food was ok la, normal 'char chan teng' food. I ordered myself one 'pork chop in garlic sauce rice'. Taste so-so, not too bad but then not very impress on that...

After lunch, we get back to work, continue busy and get ready for 5pm meeting. Supposed wanna leave office slightly earlier today to do some things in KL, but then meeting was till 6 something, so I was late to KL. Caught in quite a long jam on the way to KL, so tiring...

After settled our things, hubby brought me to eat 'Hokkien Mee' for dinner. Well, this shop hokkien mee is good, the 'char la-la' also very delicious... Thumbs-up!! Finally got to eat some happy food... Donno the exact location of this shop, all I know is somewhere near Dewan Bahasa and Pustaka.
'Char La-La, Hokkien Mee + Fried Keow Teow'
After dinner, our busy work continue again. Because of this morning accident, the lady went to report police, making things more complicated. So we also need to go and lodge a police report within 24 hours after the accident time. She really a *stupid b*tch* la!!!!! Kanasai!!! Make police report for such a small thing. Hubby already promised wanna compensate to her, but she still felt not good enough. So she act smart lor, go and report police then only inform hubby... So we went to Uptown police station, but then not they in-charge on accidents, so they asked us to go to Kota Damansara Polica Station. When we reached there, the policemen said, our accident spot supposed to report at PJ State Police Station, so we drove again to there lor.. Haih.. one night we travelled to 3 police stations... Just imagine the energy and petrol we wasted just for this... When we reached PJ State police station, it was already about 10pm. After recorded what happened to the policewoman there, then we brought the statement to another department, so that can proceed to take photos on our car. The policemen there were also grumbling about this lady to my hubby, so funny.. saying she is such a calculative auntie...

After everything was done, it was already pass 12am... So tiring and sleepy.. Haih... Lucky tomorrow is not a working Saturday...

Avril Lavigne - 'The Best Damn Tour'

Hurray!! She is finally here.... I remembered, a couple years back, everytime I listened to her songs, hubby always told me, one day, if she were to be in Malaysia for her concert, he will definitely bring me to go and watch. Yes, hubby is keeping his promised to me and bought her concert's tickets for next month on 29th August at Stadium Merdeka, KL... Thank you, my dearest hubby!! You are soOoo sweet... Hehehe...
Her concert tickets are either free standing or free seating, so we have decided to buy the free seating type... Don't think I can stand the whole night long throughout the whole concert. Hehehe.. Early this morning, we drove to Sungei Wang Plaza in KL purposely to purchase the tickets. When we reached, the sales persons have not opened the booth yet, maybe we were too early. Haha, so no choice, we waited lor... At 12pm, they reached and opened the booth... So happy to see them. After downloaded the Avril Lavigne's caller ringtone to our handphones, we were entitled for the 10% discount. So, we bought the tickets!!!

Avril Lavigne ~ here we come!!! See ya.... Hehehe...

Shopping at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur

I just got back from Pavilion, KL... It was a bit jam in KL, but traffic still consider under control. Hehehe. When I reached Pavilion, it was quite crowded, donno because it is weekend or because it is now mega sales period.
Of course, today I went with a purpose... Searching for Charles and Keith shoes shop which was newly opened since early July. I went to 4th Floor which the shop was located and browsed through for a while. Nothing really fancy me except for that pair of shoes which I have seen online few days back. So got the salesgirl to bring me my size, tested a few rounds, found it quite comfortable to wear and nice, so hahaha.. I decided to buy it.

After got out from the shoes shop, I went to the bakery shop which I saw earlier, and got to see lots of different types of cheesecakes on sales...

* The Loaf ~ Lot 3.13.00 & 4.12.02, Level 3 & 4, Pavilion KL.
Wow, the colours are nice, look delicious to me and of course, smell really tasty with very strong cheesy smell. Haha, so I bought half a dozen of them, with all different types of favours (caramel nut, strawberry, coffee, orange, cheese and coco loco), planning to bring back home to let my hubby and brother to try.
Then, my lunch time lor!! I had a late lunch coz my plans were to shop first. Hahaha... I went to their food court - Food Republic, went to the stall which I like the most, the Korean food stall. Ordered myself a set of Korean BBQ Chicken Set. Hehe, sitting alone, slowly enjoying my delicious lunch. The food court was very crowded with people. After my lunch, I looked at my watch, alright, it is time for me to go back home lor.. Need to fetch my hubby later from work around 5pm...
A happy Saturday afternoon, a short but fruitful shopping trip, bought what I wished, and ate what I wanted. Hurray!!!

Easy Pizza - Ikano Power Centre

As usual, today I fetched hubby back from work after my work at 6pm. So, when we were in the car discussing what to eat for dinner, we really blank in mind... After considering for a while, I told him, why not we go to Ikano Power Centre, since there is Aussino branch there and we can search for bedsheets.

Searching for food in Ikano is not difficult as there aren't too many restaurants around. After walking for a few rounds, hubby decided that we eat pizza. We passed by this small little pasta restaurant, name 'Easy Pizza' and we stopped by browsing the menu. Food seems ok for us with reasonable price.

So we placed our orders. Hubby ordered a pizza combo for himself while I ordered myself a pasta combo. Soup came first and it was the asparagus soup. Tasted light and nice, but I think it will taste better if the soup is hotter... Next is my pasta. I ordered myself a mushroom spagetti and it really tasted Delicious worr!! Then came hubby's pizza, he ordered chicken pepperoni for himself, not bad too.. We quite enjoyed the food as the restaurant was not really crowded.

Easy Pizza ~ Lot LG66, Ikano Power Centre
Mushroom Spagetti
Soup of Asparagus (Looks so-so but taste ok)
Chicken Pepperoni Pizza
After our dinner, bedsheet and bed frame hunting start again... Went to Aussino but didn't see any I like. but got KIV a few designs la (just in case really cannot find, will go for the KIV designs)... Went to Harvey Norman for bed frame scouting, saw a few designs we like, but also KIV, coz wanna compare the prices before we really purchase it. Hehehe...

Tomorrow a working Saturday for me... However is ok.. it is a weekend so we must have a happy day! I have planned for a single-solo shopping trip for myself tomorrow after work because my hubby tomorrow needs to go back office at noon for training session. So, I am free-and-easy!!

Creating Wedding 'Thank You' Cards

Today I had a busy day again... Besides my daily 9-6 work, I busy creating my wedding 'Thank You' card after work. After deciding on what wordings to print on it, after measured the size that I want, I got the wordings design to fit into A3 size as the papers I bought are in A3 size. I bought the cards quite some time back (I think last 2 months, forgot le...) but only got time to get them printed and cut today.
The Paper Front and Back after cut... I used hubby's handphone camera to take the pictures, it was not very clear and quite dark.. But I think still can be seen... As you can see on the paper, I find this paper a bit unique, as it has all the Chinese surnames printed on it. Very special, when I first saw it, I fall in love into it and bought them straight away without thinking twice.

The 'Hei' Punch and scissors - Some of the tools I used to create the card.. Of course printer and cutter not with me, so no chance to take picture on that 2 important tools... Here it goes!! The look of the card after I have punched it!! One by one I punch the card. A lot of labour time and energy I used to create this. The puncher a bit not so smooth so I need to use a lot of energy just to press on it and PUNCH!! Hahaha... so one day production cannot be a lot... My energy is limited. Tomorrow I shall continue again... Donno when I can finish punching all of cards ?? Hehehe... After finish punching all of them, then I will need to start work on the wedding favours production which will be few months later..

Here are some of the card samples:

Canton-I @ 1 Utama + Wedding Shoes Search!

Today hubby and I went to One Utama, after resting at home from Sunway Pyramid, and after we had our 'tong shui'. Hehehe.... He went to make one new pair of sunglasses and me continue to scout for my wedding shoes.. Went to a few shoes shops, didn't see any I like... So we proceed to have our dinner. This time we chose Canton-i @ One Utama. Interior design quite beautiful, and food looks good. As I don't really feel healthy yet and don't wanna eat too heaty food, so I ordered myself one porridge with century eggs + lean meat, and hubby ordered one soup wanton mee. My porridge was good, it really tasted delicious! The prawns wanton in hubby's mee also tasted nice... And, the best of all, both of us ate the custard bun and this was superb!! The filling is with salted egg paste. Really taste nice. Will definitely recommend friends to go there and taste this bun... After our dinner, my shoes searching continue again. Finally I bought it at Lewre (One Utama new wing)... It looks more to greyish colour and not ivory white. It is hard to find one ivory white shoes and design which I like. Hope this pair of shoes can match with my wedding gown...

My Sunday's life

Yesterday I falled sick, suddenly feel so cold and high fever after I back from my facial appointment. Ate 2 panadols and slept for 3 hours, luckily getting better after I woke up around 8pm. Then went out eat dinner with hubby... Fever came back again at midnite, lucky not so serious, after 2 panadols again, slept back and this morning woke up back to normal again. I drank a lot of water last night, maybe too heaty.. Body felt hot and cold as well...

This morning, as planned earlier, hubby brought me to Sunway Pyramid... went to a shop which they sell wedding accessories, scout-scout around, check out some prices but didn't get to buy anything... At first thought wanna buy some 'angpao' packets, but not really cheap. Think I will purchase them online. Hehehe... Then we went to scout for my wedding shoes, didn't see any pair that I like, so hubby said maybe later evening we go One Utama again to do the shoes searching.

Mega sales started yesterday, I hope I can get to find some good deals!!

Now, back from Sunway Pyramid, hubby said wanna eat 'tong shui', so I boil his favourite 'tong shui' for him. Waiting to be ready. My ingredients as below:

'Red dates, bai guo, lian zhi, longan + bai mu-er'

Hehe... my 'tong shui' after boiled ~

Going to eat together with my hubby lor... Hehehe.. he is playing his PS2 now at living room...
