Nico @ 8 months & 3 weeks' old

Some of Nico's recent photos @ 8 months & 3 weeks' old ~

He is still the happy-go-lucky Nico as always. Mummy loves to see him smile all the time! At this age of Nico, really has a lot of saliva. We need to always change his bib as the bib will get wet very fast. He still likes to shout and feeding milk time must be punctual. If delay a little bit, I think the whole house will hear he cries or shouts for milk.

Brotherhood ~ Kimi as of now, really loves his 'Di-di'... He will kiss and share his toys with Nico. So blessed… Hope that when both of them grow up older, they won't fight. Mummy wishes to see both of them love each other all the time :)

Although it was just a short one day trip back to Taiping, we enjoyed it a lot. Both the brothers enjoy each other companion very much!

Hop-On, Hop-Off @ KL

Date: 25th August 2012

A day tour at KL by bus ~ Kimi loves vehicles. He always will shout out loud whenever he sees a new model of car which he does not know, or when he sees a lorry or bus. So, we decided to let him experience the bus ride. He was very excited over it when he knew it and kept reminded us he wanted to sit on a YELLOW Bus...

Okay, of all the colours, he chose Yellow... I also don't know why. And we were lucky enough that, on that day, we really bumped into a yellow colour bus. Kimi was even more excited over it. He pointed to us the brochure and told us the bus on the brochure was the same that he was going to ride on it.

We started our journey at Bus Stop No. 6 at Lot 10. It was a very good experience. This bus trip also adds on to my knowledge about Kuala Lumpur. Without this day tour, I don't even know that KL is such a nice city with so many beautiful tourist attractions surrounding it ~ I also had the chance to explain some of the tourists spots information to the tourists whom were in the same bus as us. Haha... I am so proud of myself as a Malaysian at that time!

Kimi is waiting for the bus to arrive ~

Not to forget a shoot with Mummy while waiting for the bus ~

Kimi and Pa-pa in the Bus ~

It took around almost 3 hours for the whole journey. But some stops we did not go down from the bus... We only stopped at Istana Negara and Titiwangsa Lake Garden for some photos shooting. We ended our bus journey at KLCC entrance.

I never realize we have such a nice view in KL ~

Malaysia's Pride ~ The Petronas Twin Tower!

The very comfortable connecting bridge from KL Convention Centre to Bukit Bintang ~

We decided to stop at KLCC and walked to Lot 10 where we parked our car there. We took our late lunch at the Lot 10 Hutong Heritage Food Village 乐天广场十号胡同 before we headed back home.

Thanks for the great weather! We had a wonderful outing and Kimi really enjoyed the whole trip very much :)

The Happy Nico!

Last weekend was a long weekend. PIL brought Nico to KL for us and then they went to Genting Highlands for a break... So, I had 4 days to spend with my 2 lovely sons. Although it was a real tiring one with 2 kids at home, I enjoyed it a lot... Kimi was sick on that weekend and is still having his cough now. Haih... So it made the weekend even a more tiring one. Although in between, husband and wife did quarrel over the delegation of work in taking care of the 2 kids, anyway, this is not the first time also... Haha, so just treat it as part and parcel of our parenthood's journey. We slowly learn from the mistakes and improve from there.

Nico was hospitalized for one night 2 weeks ago in Taiping. He had loads of phlegm in his throat which needed him to be on nebulizer treatment every 3 hours. So his pediatrician admitted him to be monitored. The bad thing was, I needed to work and couldn't rush back for him. Moreover MIL said better let Kimi stayed away from Nico so that the coughing or whatsoever won't spread to each other to make the situation worse. So sad, I couldn't take care of Nico myself when he was in the hospital. Luckily, I have very helpful PIL who were there for us whenever we need help. Really need to thank them a lot. Rushing in and out hospital although FIL needs to work while MIL staying in hospital with Nico to take care of him. After a few days of treatments, Nico finally recovered!

This time seeing Nico, he seems to be rounder a bit despite that he was sick for almost a week. Carrying him on my arms for a longer time I think I can train up my muscles soon. Haha... MIL said when they were in the hospital, even the nurses asked her the reasons of Nico being admitted. As Nico seemed to be so cheerful and active throughout the whole stay in hospital. He did not seem like a sick baby at all. Anyway, all these are over. My only wish is that both my sons can be healthy always! Cough, flu, fever, bla, bla, bla... ALL please stay AWAY from them!

The cheerful side of him ~

Nico is at his teething period now and he likes to bite things a lot. I prepare a few teethers for him also not enough. At times when his gum are too itchy, he will shout very loud so that we can put in the teether for him to soothe his gum. Wow, he can really shout very loud for this! Hope his teeth can grow out very soon ^^ This is when Nico self-entertaining himself on his bed :)

My First Bread Baking Experience

Date: 12th August 2012

I went to my first baking bread class on this day. Very great experience I had! I am a person who loves baking, but cannot bake well. So I hope can always improve my baking skills. Baking bread is one of the things that I have totally zero knowledge. So decided to take up a class and learn the bread dough making steps. It was a hands-on class so I got to experience it myself together with my team members.

The chef is friendly and willingly to share his experience with us. A few of the team members are quite skillful and I gain some new knowledge from them too. It was indeed a very enjoyable and happy class!

Well, I do not know after this class, will I practice what I have learned back at home or not.... Hehe... But at least now I know a bit on how a bread baking looks like. So happy! Hope I really will take the effort to practice at home and can make nice bread for my 2 lovely sons soon ~

A new phase for Kimi

01.08.2012

Today Kimi starts his new experience in a neighbourhood Nursery. I think as a Mummy, I am more anxious and at the same time excited as well for this day to arrive. Although Kimi had been going to a half-day nursery back in Taiping for the past 3 months, this round is a full-day mode. I am just worry about his level of adapting to the new environment. I think my previous experience on last year really scare me off! Hehe... So, I need 101% of courage to go through this phase again. Just hope that Kimi can be a good boy and give me full co-operation in this.

This morning, Mummy and Kimi's conversation in the car:

Kimi: Mummy, Kimi Ong wants to go school...
Mummy: Ok, I am sending you there now!
Kimi: Go school... go school...

When we reached the school entrance, I not yet even parked my car properly:
Kimi: Bye-bye, Mummy!!

Gosh... I was a bit speechless over this, and most of all surprise!! Is my son growing up too fast? Or is just the 'NEW' thing mode that attracts him so much? Anyway, whatever is it... PLEASE don't cry will do ^^ Mummy wants to see a Happy Boy everyday ;)

Yesterday, I brought him for a haircut. Kimi is indeed a very 'love pretty' boy! I went to a few saloons but they were all closed on Tuesday (weird !!)... Really drove till a bit impatient, so I casually told Kimi, 'Why not we cut the hair another day?' But his reply was, 'No, Kimi Ong wants to cut hair'! He keeps on repeating says that he wants cut hair throughout the journey in the car. So, out of no choice, I must find one saloon for him to cut hair!

Kimi's new look after a refreshing haircut ~

I was on half day leaves yesterday, so I decided to prepare dinner at home for my Family. The first meal at home which I cooked to welcome Kimi back to KL to stay with us... The ingredients are mostly cut into cubes so that easier for Kimi to eat ~ What a simple and yet happy meal! All of us love it ~
