The Day I Hold my Cymbidium ~~

One month has passed...
Yet I am still missing it ~~

6th Dec 2008 - My prettiest day in life... Really feel like wanna write down everything, so that I can clearly remember what happened on this day, how hubby went through all the stages from my 'ji muis' and finally made it to pass the beautiful cymbidium bouquet to me... How my Pe-pe made hubby sing a chinese song for me (although only one line which he managed to sing), How I make myself to look beautiful on that day, how I hugged my parents and hold my tears from rolling down (I really wanna be a pretty bride, so the tears keep on roll in my eyes, and I control them from keep on rolling down)... HOw my dad told hubby, remember to take good care of my daugther ya.... A lot of HOWS on this and that... I really wanna remember them no matter how time flies ~~ That's why I think I blog it so that I can read it one day..

I woke up quite early on that morning, I think about 6.30am, as I need to make-up and get ready. My make-up artist slept with me the night before so made things easier. The nite before, the 'tai kum che' was at the hotel about 12am something, did the comb hair ceremony for me till about 1am something. On that night, mum and dad feed me with 'Tang Yuan'. I was told to swallow them instead of chewing them. That night although tired, I still want to make myself beautiful for the next day... Hehehe, I think this should be what a woman's nature kua.. To capture any moments that she can just to be beautiful ~~

Hubby and his gangs reached the hotel I think about 9.10am.. Quite early but we were all already ready at hotel. On that morning, a few games were played but I think my wedding shud be one of the easiest games of all... Hubby was asked to sing a chinese song, to fold paper birds and to sign the Love cheques for me. Not really very difficult tasks la, since his 'brothers' also a lot helping out... But of course the Love cheques need all his own signatures! So he needs to sign one by one by himself ~~

After everything, hubby came to upstairs and fetched me together with the cymbidium bouquet... He lifted up my veil and gave me a kiss, and I put on his corsage for him. At the moment, I should be the happiest woman, married to a man, who loves me and will take care of me for the rest of my life. After all the group photos taken with parents, siblings, relatives and friends, I gave my parents a hug before I left the hotel. I had some tears on my eyes, which I tried to control them from rolling down a lot. Same goes to my mum, I saw some tears on her too... Thank You, Dad and Mum! That's all I can say, coz I know, the more I say out, the more tears will roll down. So I try not to say a lot of words... But don't worry, they are all tears of HAPPINESS! I know my parents are very happy for me, that I have found the someone whom I love and can spend the rest of my life with ~~

"Pa and Ma, thank you!"

Our Wedding Car Plate ~

Dear Hubby, if you are reading this blog one day, don't forget what you have SIGNED on the Love cheques!! Hahaha.... :) Don't forget what you have deposited in the 'Bank Of Love' to me ya ~~

One month has passed, and I am still missing this day, everyday.. ^_^

My Wedding Dinner at Pontian

29th November 2008 ~ I had my bride's side wedding dinner at Pontian yesterday night... Not really did lots of pre-preparation for the dinner, just got myself a make-up artist to make myself pretty and also the wedding favours for my guests... I actually got a bit worried as I did not really arrange what things need to be done. Everytime when I called back home to ask, seem like there were nothing much for me to do. Hahaha.. So I just told myself, is ok.. just stay pretty on that day and have fun!!

Well, everyone was waiting for my arrival on Friday, house full of my relatives which made me so touch. My Saturday started with tea ceremony in the morning, followed by buffet lunch at home. And the continued with the tea ceremony again as some relatives reached in the afternoon.
Then I go to do my manicure and pedicure. Hehehe... After that, I settled my parents-in-law and hubby's relatives accomodation. My make-up artist arrived about 4pm, did my 2 pretty sisters before she started on mine... Well, after everything settled, we went to the restaurant about 7.30pm, waited a while before we walked up to the restaurant as some of the guests not yet arrived.

Well, everything went on quite smoothly, thanks to my dad and mum, uncles and aunties and most of all are my siblings and cousins!!!! They helped me on arranging the wedding favours, placing the guests book, arrange my wedding photos for guests to see, etc.. and lots-lots more.. be our photographer as well... I really very touch for their help!! Really wish to thank them lots-lots of time for doing all these for me. I think without them, things won't out as what I hope it can be. Oh ya, my technical director whom is my brother, hahaha.. he arranged all the slideshows with the karaoke man. Get them to play on time, although in between got some minor technical errors, hehehe... it was still ok, thanks ya, brother!!
A lot of memories I got from this night. I really feel happy to be in this big and warm family. Feel so glad to have them with me...
A big thank you to all my good buddies, for coming all the way from everyway!! I really appreciate it. Thanks to my sis and also her hubby for the restaurant's arrangements... Thank you for making me so surprise when I saw the decorations in the restaurant when I arrived.

I really had a superb and wonderful night. I had fun as well. Hehehe.. I think hubby's too... Too bad, we didn't have the time to try out all the dishes which I hope I can :)

So next Saturday will be the wedding day ~~ Hope everything will also turn out well too. Looking forward for the day to arrive...

More photos can be viewed in my Facebook ^_^

A Happy Week Ahead me ~~

I always hope for a happy everyday ~~ Of course, not every day can be as smooth as we hope it can be, sometimes things might not turn out to be what you want, but at least I do hope, it can be happy day for me, from the moment I wake up, eat breakfast with hubby, till I reach my work place.

Supposed our honeymoon has cancelled, but then after hubby kept on insisting on bringing me for holidays, I decided to find a simple trip, perhaps a short one, as long as it is our honeymoon. After surveyed a few nearby places, after checking the air tickets, we finally decided on going to Phuket and Krabi... Haha, Krabi for the second time. This time, perhaps, might be a little backpacking, coz we will travel by coach to Krabi from Phuket, and perhaps, no pre-book hotel rooms. Still finding a way to sort on those arrangements. As wedding day is coming nearer, things are getting busier. So honeymoon arrangement on such a last minute, seem like a secondary thing to me. Getting ready for wedding is my primary concern now. Hehehe... I will pray for everything to be run smoothly on my lovely wedding day ~~

Today I went for a short shopping spree with hubby, after I have trimmed and dyed my hair. He took LRT and met me up after his work. After dinner, he accompanied me to find my wedding dinner's performance dress. Finally, I got to find the dress I want. Hehe.. at first thought wanna shot a photo and put it up in blog, but then think-think, hehe.. better keep it up first, and show it only during my wedding dinner time. A little surprise for my guests, I supposed... :)

I started my day this week with all the good things... I am sure things will continue to be better on each day.

Hubby:
你不知道 你对我多么重要
有了你生命完整的刚好

终于找到 心有灵犀的美好
一辈子暖暖的好
我永远爱你到老

I know you cannot read mandarin. But, I have wrtten some words that to tell you, how important you are to me, and my life is complete with you around me... Quite mushy hor.. Hehehe... But I still want to say: Thank you, hubby!

Honeymoon is OFF !!

Actually I don't really like unhappy things to be with me... Don't like disappointments, don't like imperfectness... I always thought that, wedding should come with a honeymoon trip, no matter where is it or how short is the trip. But sad to say, my honeymoon trip is cancelled...

Today I got a call from the tour agent which hubby and I signed-up for our honeymoon trip... Well, it is confirmed that the trip is cancelled due to not enough of people to form a group. What a pity!! They suggested to us to change to another date which has confirmed departure, but I do not want that choice. As everything has been arranged nicely before this just to suit into the tour date. Hubby changed his duty shifts with colleagues and etc... So it is quite difficult for both of us to adjust our arrangements now at this moment of time. So, out of no choice, I accepted the truth that the trip needs to be cancelled.

I am quite lazy to ask around for other tour agents now as the date that we want is coming near and moreover most of the trips that I tried to ask before, are already full on the date that we want. So no choice lor... no honeymoon for me ~~

A bit disappointed though ~~ Making me feel that the entire wedding process that I have planned, now seems like a little bit out-of shape... No longer as perfect as I imagine it can turn out to be...

For now, just hope that everything can run smoothly on my wedding day ~~ At least with that, I will be a Happy Bride!!

Me at Taiping ~~

Hehe... now I am at Taiping, writing my blog ~~ Hubby and I came back to Taiping on Thursday night after work. We came back to settle some wedding stuffs and confirmed on hotels and florist. Supposingly going back KL this evening, as hubby needs to work tomorrow. But he is now down with flu, so he decided to drive back KL early in the morning tomorrow. He needs to go back office a while tomorrow.

Thursday night once we reached, food were ready for us. Hubby's parents tapao Taiping 'Kai see meen' for us as supper. So sweet of them...

Friday morning, after breakfast, hubby's parents followed us to go to Kamalodge Resort to settle the hotel rooms for us. Paid the deposit to secure our rooms and booking. Scare later they booked wrongly for us again. Then, we went to Irene's Florist, confirmed our wedding hall decorations, flower arch, backdrop and also hand bouquet for myself. So, settled 2 important things already. After that, we went back home and packed some clothes to go to Penang.

When we reach Penang, we straight go to Cecilia's shop to collect my evening gown for my bride's side wedding dinner. Thanks to Cecilia!! She got me a simple yet very nice gown. Mum-in-law and hubby also said I looked nice on the gown. So me very happy. Hehehe ~~ Penang was raining after we collected the gown. So very difficult for us to eat dinner. But lucky, hubby stopped by the coffeeshop which I used to eat my favourite porridge. So we had our dinner there, ordered a lot of different food to eat. Hahaha.. I will update the photos again when I get back to KL..

As it was raining, and Penang bridge was super jam with lots of cars, so we decided to stay one night at hubby's aunt house and drive back Taiping on the next day...

Ok for now, will update some photos here when I go back KL tomorrow. Now a bit tired, I need to take a nap first. Tonight will go out eat dinner with hubby's parents...

Our Honeymoon ~ Kunming/Dali/Lijiang

From young, I always wanted to go Dali, Yunnan one day when I can afford it... Never did I dream that my hubby is suggesting to me going to this place for our honeymoon in December. What a coincidence... Hehe, so when I heard him suggested this place to go in China, I secretly smiled inside my heart... Yes, this might be our honeymoon place... A place I have been longing to go all these while...

This morning after we woke up, planning to go Matta Fair to have a look, to see any good deals or not.. At first we have 2 places in mind, Dali/Lijiang OR Korea... Or maybe who knows, might be Taiwan... But then, hubby doesn't like Taiwan, but is ok, we can just go Matta Fair see-see look-look... Hehehe... Nothing in mind to buy initially.

Maybe we reached PWTC quite early, about 11 something, so not really crowded, and parking were also available. Very convenient... No need queue up to buy tickets. As our choices had been limited to only a few, so our tour hunting job seemed to be not difficult also. We went to find a few choices for Dali and Lijiang, so shocking that these venues are not cheap worr.. We at first thought that China trips should be cheap lor.. who knows, the places we asked, all about RM3k++... Then surveyed around for Korea + Cheju Island, tour fees also not cheap, about RM4k++. Taiwan + Alisan also about the same price... We went to those more established tour agencies to ask for quotations, in hoping that we won't get cheated...

So after we compare the prices and places, read a bit on the itinery, and finally, we decided on signing-up the 'Kunming/Dali/Lijiang' tour!! Coz we wanna see more sceneries during the tour than shopping trips. Hehe.. I am so happy... Never really think of we are going for honeymoon after wedding, coz we want to save more money to buy our house in the near future.

Hubby, thank you ya!!! So sweet of you today :) I really thought we are just going to Matta Fair to join the crowd for sightseeing only... But you ended up surpised me with by signing-up our honeymoon package on the spot. I can't wait for the day to arrive... Hope the tour agency can get enough people to cover for the tour we are joining. Hehehe....

My Pre-Wedding Photo Shoots at Romantic Bridal Studio

Finally, the day which I have been longing for so many months has just over... Today I finished my 2nd day of pre-wedding photo shoots. Today's process was so much easier compared to yesterday. Only 2 gowns left. Me and hubby reached Romantic around 4pm. When we reached, there were two other couples also shooting there. So we queued to take turn for make-up... Hehehe...

I started off with the Victoria Image. Gown is beautiful and the make-up is nice. Thanks to Iris again, for making me beautiful for another day. After done with the make-up, me and hubby climbed up to the penthouse to shoot the Victoria Image background. A very unique and special venue... I very like it... Wonder how they created and designed it ya... so special!!

After that, I changed to another gown. This round is hubby's favourite gown. A modern look 'qi-bao' I named it. He said I looked very elegant in it. Very nice... We really like the hairdo Iris designed for me. Very, very special and beautiful. Never thought that one day I can be that beautiful... Hahaha... Now I am considering whether to take this out on AD or not... Hubby and I like this gown soOoo much!

Everything finished around near to 8.00pm.... Another enjoying day!! I will definitely miss these 2 days of pre-wedding photo shooting experience... Once in a lifetime only and it is really a memorable one!

A SUPER BIG THANK YOU to the great team at Romantic Bridal House!

Oh ya, some of the 'behind the scenes' photos can be viewed at:

* Oh.. a minor mistake I made yesterday... Actually the Ah-B hor, his actual name should be Ah Lee... Today I have verified it. Haha...

Beautiful Sunset at Sepang Gold Coast

It was a tiring day, but really worth the time spending... I thought the first thing I would do after I am back from the pre-wedding photo shoot is to bath and sleep. Although I am very tired now, I really wanna write down everything on what I can remember so far on my photo-shooting experience... so that I am able to read and recollect the memories whenever I am free.

My Bridal Studio ~ ROMANTIC ~ They really hava a good team of staffs... Nice people, profesional photographer, experience make-up artist and most of all, the beautiful sunset... I thank God for everything arranged for us today. I prayed for a good weather since the past few days, and I am so happy today that I really had it. And of course, not to forget to thank all my good 'ji muis', thanks for the good wishes, I think the blue sky, the clear cloud and the beautiful sunset really heard that.... That's why I had a good day today!!!

I woke up at 6.40am today, did my eye mask before I get ready for everything. My dearest hubby slept quite late last nite, studied for tomorrow exams. So this morning I also woke him up quite late, around 7.30am. After everything was done, it almost 8.20am. So, we drove to Romantic at KL together with my dearest cousin, Lit Han. He is my 'behind the scene' photographer today cum videographer. Luckily I have him, making all the 'behing the scenes' photos taken without worries, as hubby and I was busy making ourselves look beautiful.... Lit, a BIG thank you to YOU!!

Not long after we reached, I think outside was raining. But it was ok as we started our indoor shooting first. Things started very smoothly, one gown by one gown we changed and took photographs. Hubby had all the matching shirts from the bridal studio to match my beautiful gowns... He is soOoo handsome, haha... even the photographer also praised him. But, maybe the photographer a bit too perfectionist, so timing a bit out. He was so detailed in every scenes and shots he took, just to make us look beautiful.... We ended up didn't get to finish taking all the gowns the bridal house had prepared for me. Time is a bit rush for us if we really squeeze to shot all the gowns for today as we still need to drive to Sepang Gold Coast which is around one hour plus from here. So, for indoor shooting, I have 2 more gowns to go, so need to continue tomorrow afternoon around 3pm.

Around 3.20pm, we drove to Sepang Gold Coast.... We reached there around 4 something. Sun was very bright but it was just too hot... But is good, better than a rainy day. Shooting started again. This round was outdoor shooting. The first venue reminds me of my Pontian's house... Heheh.. wooden bridge with muddy beach. Feel quite at home.... Just that donno whether our photos will turn out to be full of sweat or not. Hahaha... donno the make-up melted or not :)

Do we look like superstars? With the make-up artist and the 2 bodyguards behind us... Hahaha... Looks like we are shooting a movie hor...

After that, another outdoor gown I changed. This round was a very casual dress... Beautiful and smooth sandy beach is the venue. We came to the Sepang Gold Coast resort I think, not too sure, hehe.. as all the buildings and toilets were so clean, the grass and walkways also nicely built... A nice garden they have too... Up and down, stand and sit,.... whatever poses they photographer named, we just follow...

Lucky they have quite smooth sandy beach.... making the walkings very easily... But once in a while, we did accidentally fall down from the higher part of the sands, making the whole process a bit funny. But hubby and I really enjoyed every moments of it.... Hehehe... Shootings and shootings... until the sunset finally arrived!!! A moment I have been waiting for so long...

It was really a big and round sunset! I softly whispered in my heart, luckily I witnessed this lovely sunset together with my dearest hubby at this very special moments in my life. I always love beaches and sunsets... That is the main reason hubby chose this outdoor venue for me...

Photo shooting ended with one photo which hubby carried me on his arms.... Donno how is the photo going to turn out to be. The photographer only captured one shot of it, donno can or not ler, but I really very looking forward to this photo. This is the hardest pose of the day. Really hope it will be nice. I gonna choose it as one of the photos in my wedding album if can. If not, haha... wasted my hubby's energy by carrying a 'fat' wife on him.

While on the way to change our normal clothes, we met a group of tourists also shooting photos there themselves.... I think should be local Malaysia tourists, as all the aunties also speak Hakka among themselves. But they spoke to me in Mandarin. They thanked us, for bringing them luck to be able to view such a beautiful sunset. Haha... they are so friendly and funny!! They wished us 'Happy Marriage' before they walked back for their dinner at a restaurant there.

My pre-wedding shoot ended near to 8.00pm. On our way back home, it was drizzling. Phew, luckily shooting has ended. We were indeed very lucky for the good weather throughout the whole process. Tomorrow will be another half day... We will go to Romantic after hubby finish his exams.

I really enjoy my day today and I think my hubby too...

Thank you, to Iris (my make-up artist of the day), Max (the photographer) and another assistant (but I forgot his name - seem like is called Ah-B)!!! Thank you for spending your time with us, your effort and your professionalism.... I witnessed it today myself.

* I will upload the photos when I get it from my cousin... Not today definitely... The photos are with him now and I am going to sleep soon.

Creating Wedding 'Thank You' Cards

Today I had a busy day again... Besides my daily 9-6 work, I busy creating my wedding 'Thank You' card after work. After deciding on what wordings to print on it, after measured the size that I want, I got the wordings design to fit into A3 size as the papers I bought are in A3 size. I bought the cards quite some time back (I think last 2 months, forgot le...) but only got time to get them printed and cut today.
The Paper Front and Back after cut... I used hubby's handphone camera to take the pictures, it was not very clear and quite dark.. But I think still can be seen... As you can see on the paper, I find this paper a bit unique, as it has all the Chinese surnames printed on it. Very special, when I first saw it, I fall in love into it and bought them straight away without thinking twice.

The 'Hei' Punch and scissors - Some of the tools I used to create the card.. Of course printer and cutter not with me, so no chance to take picture on that 2 important tools... Here it goes!! The look of the card after I have punched it!! One by one I punch the card. A lot of labour time and energy I used to create this. The puncher a bit not so smooth so I need to use a lot of energy just to press on it and PUNCH!! Hahaha... so one day production cannot be a lot... My energy is limited. Tomorrow I shall continue again... Donno when I can finish punching all of cards ?? Hehehe... After finish punching all of them, then I will need to start work on the wedding favours production which will be few months later..

Here are some of the card samples:

Outside of the Card
Inside of the Card
My first day production achievement!

Canton-I @ 1 Utama + Wedding Shoes Search!

Today hubby and I went to One Utama, after resting at home from Sunway Pyramid, and after we had our 'tong shui'. Hehehe.... He went to make one new pair of sunglasses and me continue to scout for my wedding shoes.. Went to a few shoes shops, didn't see any I like... So we proceed to have our dinner. This time we chose Canton-i @ One Utama. Interior design quite beautiful, and food looks good. As I don't really feel healthy yet and don't wanna eat too heaty food, so I ordered myself one porridge with century eggs + lean meat, and hubby ordered one soup wanton mee. My porridge was good, it really tasted delicious! The prawns wanton in hubby's mee also tasted nice... And, the best of all, both of us ate the custard bun and this was superb!! The filling is with salted egg paste. Really taste nice. Will definitely recommend friends to go there and taste this bun... After our dinner, my shoes searching continue again. Finally I bought it at Lewre (One Utama new wing)... It looks more to greyish colour and not ivory white. It is hard to find one ivory white shoes and design which I like. Hope this pair of shoes can match with my wedding gown...
