Europe With Kids ^ And 1 more day to go !

Finally, the excitements start to kick in after I keyed in all the passengers details for the online check-in procedures. The family trip which even the boys are so looking forward to. One more day to go....!

Well, weather forecast for the next 5 days in London will be partially cloudy and slightly rains. No matter how, I hope for a smooth flying journey ahead and everyone travels happily throughout the next 2 weeks together as a family :)

We had finally planned out the almost "finished" routes and got the hotels all booked and paid. Thank you to the Mister whom had spent most of his nights after work, for so many weeks, to study the maps, the trains, the lodging, etc. for the trips.

London - Day 1 to Day 5

Amsterdam - Day 5 to Day 8
Belgium - Day 8 to Day 10
Paris - Day 10 to Day 13

The above days exclude the travelling time in the plane. Fingers-cross and we hope all are in planned properly.

We first got our hotel in London booked at the recent Matta Fair promotions online which the promotions came with breakfast at a very reasonable price within our budget. We try to work around within the budget of MYR500, per hotel room per night, if possbile.

Hotel: The Castleton Hotel, Paddington, London.
This hotel is managed by the Berjaya Hotel & Resorts, and the reviews we got from the Tripadvisor's website were just as average. However, the location is very good. I will be sharing my personal thoughts on this hotel after I am back from London then.

Type of Rooms for 4 nights :

Deluxe Double Room en suite = £386

4-bed Room en suite = £410.40Grand Total = £796.40

The credit card charged showed an amount of MYR4,472 for 4 nights 2 rooms, with an average of MYR560 per night with breakfast.

The image was downloaded from the hotel's website, and upon arrival, I hope we will be seeing the same building. Haha, this is my first trip to London so I am a bit too anxious though, just in case what I see from the website is different from what I am expecting. Hahaha :) ! Just for laughs...

After having in mind for a couple of years on a family trip to Europe, we finally made it a dream came true during a recent Airlines promotions. We compared over a few Airlines, over a few different travelling months, and over a few cities. We did our reading before the confirmation of air tickets, and chose the cities we would like to go too after a few rounds of discussions. As soon as most of the the Airlines put up their promotions via the social media platforms, we grabbed the air tickets as quickly as we could. And we got a good deal from the Emirates! Very happy ^^

So, London - Amsterdam - Belgium - Paris, we will be visiting you soon.... in October !

On a side note, holidays planning are always on a cheaper side if you are buying the air tickets during end of February/beginning of March, if you would like to grab some good deals from the Airlines. Do plan early for your next trip then!

Holidays For Two @ Peru – his dream destination, my pleasant motivation!

Earlier last year when the Mister was telling me about Peru, I stunted for a while and tried to recall my Geography lessons, which I had learnt in school in hoping I could recall where is Peru’s exact location. Then, he followed by telling me about Machu Picchu. My eyes rolled up when I heard that and was asking him back, “Could you spell out the name for me so that I can Google and see where is it??! I was so worried that with this silly question of mine, he would leave me behind and went on for his solo trip. Luckily, he took me with him!

So, the best Gift in March 2017 was an air ticket from Kuala Lumpur all the way to Peru! Thanks for getting the tickets during the British Airways sales period. Seriously, this was a very unexpected travelling plan for me. I never expect it to be that far with so many hours of flight journey. I believe this had hit the many years of travelling quota with him. Excitement began since then!

A lot of information to read, a lot of things to prepare, a lot of workouts to practice! I am toooo fat to hike J

And finally, October 2017 arrived and we were all prepared to go on an adventurous journey, with the unlimited of hiking experiences! I was so excited and yet nervous, I worried my back would hurt with the long hours of flight's experience. So many questions to be answered along the trip ^^ Peru, here we come!
