~ BUsy days ~

Really cannot imagine, how come I can 2 weeks didn't update blog... Must be life has been extremely busy for me, busy till really lazy to update my blog. Moreover, I have not been sleeping well last few weeks. So trying my best to get some sleep whenever I can.

Work is busy with a few events running on the same month, one after another... BUsy closing sales, busy meet targets, and busy with preparations. Now finally things have over for the month of February and waiting for March events to come.

Last Wednesday, I traveled with boss and colleagues to Penang, 3 days 2 nights, for an education event on 26th Feb. It was quite a successful event, I would say ~~ Quite satisfied with our team's performance on the event day. Thank you, colleagues, for all your hard work!! All our efforts have been paid off...

After the event, boss bought us dinner at a Thai restaurant. Food are delicious and special. Haha, but too bad, I was busy eating, so no time to shot photos of the food, moreover a bit tired after the event. So made me even lazier to shot the food while eating. But trust me, really can pay a visit to the restaurant... The steam fish there is superbly delicious!!

After the dinner, my uncle brought me and my colleagues to a place to eat 'Hokkien Mee' aka prawn mee at Burma Road... This is my favourite, must eat food in Penang. Even though I am quite full after the dinner, I still managed to eat it but of course share a bit with my uncle.

Next time must bring hubby to come and try.The next day, we drove back to KL, on the journey back, boss bought us lunch at Bidor. He said this shop duck noodles is very nice, so wanna recommend to us. It is a famous shop in Bidor names 'Pun Chun'.

2nd Visit to Gynae

Date: 14th February 2009

After being advised by the doctor, after being told to eat some medicine, after taking as much rest as I can, my body seems like back to normal (what I mean here is the spotting which I had previously has gradually become lesser). Doctor said that was caused by my extensive traveling and too tired. Hope that I can rest more from now on as I am still on my first trimester. Everything need to take extra good care to make sure baby is growing healthily...

Second time visit to gynae... Doctor gave me a scan after asking on my condition, how's my things going on, anymore spotting, etc... When we saw on the ultrasound, hubby and I were so amazed by what we saw on the screen, baby's heartbeat and it's growing from the first time we saw on the ultrasound.

Doctor told us on my expected delivery date, it is almost the same as what I counted from the internet scale. Good, at least I can inform both mothers on the expected delivery date which they have been eaking me for it.

As of today, I am 8 weeks and 2 days pregnant. According to some charts which I saw through internet searching, my baby's crown to rump length is approximately 12mm or 0.5 inches and weighs about 1 gram. I didn't ask doctor on this thing, just curious when I saw it on internet, so posted it up.

Oh ya, doctor reminded and forbidden me from any extensive traveling again especially by plane. Hubby is very, very concerned over what the doctor has told me, so he asked me to follow doctor's advise, less travelling and rest more.

So because of this, after informed and discussed my conditions with my boss, I cancelled all the outstation trips which I need to travel by plane, and replaced by my colleague. But remained some local trips which do not require me to take planes, although doctor even forbidden me from doing that. But I think, it should be ok la... as long as I can take care of myself well during those trips and rest more and remember to eat my medicine, I think all should be fine. Just that hubby a bit not happy that I still want to travel for roadshows and keep on reminding me to take super good care of myself...

I pray hard for the healthy growing baby in me... And hubby too ~~

First Visit to Gynae

Date: 30th January 2009

After all the CNY travelling, we were back to KL on Thursday. Supposed to go to see the gynae once we reached KL, but then hubby need to attend to some urgent work for his company. AFter he finished, it was already evening time. So we couldn't make it, need to wait till the next day.

After our breakfast, which was already 10 something, we went to gynae visit at The Centrepoint. When we reached, the clinic was so crowded. Quite a number of mums-to-be there.. Hehehe... So I registered myself and took my number. Oh my goodness, need to queue to afternoon time only can reach my turn. So we went back home first, and came back again around 2 something. We ate our lunch at Centrepoint while waiting for our turn. When it was our turn, it was almost 4pm.

After speaking to the doctor, got to know my situation, she did a scanning for me, and once again confirmed that I am pregnant (besides the pregnancy test kit I did myself at home)... Hubby and I were very happy when we heard that, and finally all the doubts I have were cleared. Yes, I am pregnant... 6 weeks' pregnant according to the doctor. We saw a tiny little dot on the scanning screen. Doctor said that's my baby. Hehehe... But after examined my body, doctor found out that I am quite weak, perhaps due to the extensive travelling I had during CNY. So she forbids me from any extensive travelling from then on and gives me some medicine to eat. I need a lot of rest, she told me.. And informed me some dos and don'ts....

She asked me to go back for check-up after two weeks to see how's my condition.

Once we reached home, hubby insisted me to lie on bed and rest. I know he is concerned about me. So, I also 'kuai-kuai' sleep lor.. Don't want him worry about me...

Dear, I am really happy that I have your baby in me... I know you are as happy as I am also, or perhaps even happier than me.... Thank you!! And I think this is the best present I can give to you... ^_^

My Birthday Present for Hubby

Date: 22nd January 2009

One day before we went to Genting, and then after going back Taiping for CNY, I went to the pharmacy after work, bought myself a pregnancy test kit. Although my period has never been on time, I just feel like testing it. Just in case, if I am really pregnant, I wanna give this to hubby as early birthday present.

Bought myself a pack of of pregnancy test kit with 2 sticks.. A bit kiasu hor.. but just want to make sure the results are accurate. Very, very excited when I reached home, eagerly to test on it before hubby reached home after work.

First time tried on it, it showed a positive sign... Made my heartbeat seemed faster. So I took out another stick, tried on it again. And, YES, it is also a positive sign with 2 lines appear on the stick. Very, very excited... Can't wait to call hubby for the news... But then donno shud wait for him to come back first or call him first. Walked up and down, thinking of what to do next.. Hehehe... very excited worr.. I ended up calling him, coz really cannot wait to share with him the good news which he has been wanting to hear!


When hubby picked up the phone, I told him what happened, and he was like... Har serious ar?? I am going to be a father soon??!! He sound very, very happy and excited.. Said wanna come back immediately... Hehe.. But then I am going out for a movie session with colleagues... Ask him no need to rush back. So can only celebrate this news in person with hubby after I am back from the movie!!

Hubby's Birthday Celebrations

Life has been very busy, donno why so busy, ever since CNY... Busy till really feel very bored, bored till really donno what to do.. So decided to update blog. Perhaps share a bit on hubby's birthday celebrations. We celebrated 2 days earlier from the actual birthday date as planned earlier. We went back to Taiping for the 2nd time during CNY, reason being hubby wants to 'bai tien kong' on chu 8 night at his grandma's house. So during the few days' stay in Taiping, we took a few hours, drove to Penang, to makan-makan while celebrating his birthday. At first I booked a table at the restaurant named, '32 At The Mansion'. But after met up Sheau Su's one family at Penang, we decided to go to 'QEII' at Tanjong City Marina near the Penang jetty after Sheau Su's recommendations...

A very nicely decorated restaurant, with very nice sea view and scenery... Food comments were normal but with a price that about the same par as KL, a bit pricey. Although we do not need to pay for the food, as Sheau Su insisted on buy us dinner, I still find the food there a bit over-price. However, for those who like a nice view while having dinner, this is a very beautiful place... Very windy too ~~

After the dinner, we went back to Taiping as my parents-in-law were having CNY open house on the same day. When we reached, house were full with their frens... Very crowded and happy occasion...

2nd Day CNY at Pontian

2nd Day of CNY - Traditionally, my turn to go back Pontian (parents' house) - 'hui niang jia'. Although I woke up quite early, also about 8am, but only managed to drive back about 11am after breakfast. It was such a long journey, with some jams throughout the journey, made it even longer... I reached Pontian almost about 7.30pm in the evening. Once I reached, we straightaway drove to Shangrila Restaurant, where the rest of them were having dinner there. Aisehman, they already half-way eating when we reached... But is ok la.. as long as still can get together, eat and joke for fun, the jams seem to be very worth it la... :)
Cousins' Group Photo ~~ Too bad, my sister, Shin Ru and her hubby went back home first. So they were not in the photo...After the dinner, we back to our house and drinking sessions continued... Again, everyone is having lots of fun with the drinking sessions, can simply 'yum sheng' for nothing when my big bunch of super 'crazy' cousins are together ~~ Hahaha... And again, gambling sessions continue as well throughout the few days...

1st Day CNY at Taiping

Seems like a long time didn't update my blog, seems like everyday also very busy during CNY, seems like work is also very busy after my long CNY break... Now finally got some time since hubby went out with colleagues and I am home alone, so will update my blog on my CNY celebrations and also to sort out the photos...

1st Day - Woke up at about 8am, helped out my MIL to do some preparations on food. Although I might not be of much help, still hope can help her a bit since she is doing all the work by herself. Every year, hubby's family will eat 'mee suah with egg' as breakfast. Since married to him, so I follow him eat the same food lor... Don't want to trouble my MIL to cook another vegetarian food for me as breakfast. But I still very miss the vegetarian breakfast which I used to have in Pontian on the 1st day of CNY every year.. Very nice and a lot of choices ~~ Some more got vegetarian 'yee shang' also. In Taiping, breakfast seems a bit normal with the 'mee suah', but it taste real nice with the very delicious soup... Both mothers also are really good cook, I think I should learn more. Hehe :)

At night, my colleagues who stay in Taiping, came to visit me as well... Hehehe... got chance to give out angpow again. Thanks to Angeline and Meor, for dropping by, and also to help me try out the CNY cookies which I bought ^_^ Hope they taste nice ~~
