House Renovation @ Week 6

Progress @ Week 6:

 

Carpentry work started on Week 6 for the Kitchen Cabinet, TV Cabinet and Wardrobe in Master Bedroom. The workers took 3 days to do it while waiting for some other materials to arrive. The carpentry work will continue on Week 7 once the table top materials for the kitchen arrives. 

 

Hubby and I are quite satisfied with their workmanship. So far so good... The designer is very helpful too. All our requests are well taken care of. Every details are brought to discussion. Can't wait for the end results! Hope to see them in reality soon :) 

House Renovation @ Week 4 & 5

Contractor part at Week 4 is considered around 90% done I supposed... Nothing major work needs to be done already except for some minor touch-ups and the installation of the glass on the altar wall and kitchen.

Progress @ Week 4:

Painting work starts at Week 5. After surveying around, we have chosen to use the service from www.mypainter.com.my. From viewing the house to get quotation from them, and then to get them to come in to do the paintings' work, it only takes us around one week to finalise everything including the colour to choose. As of now, we are very satisfied with their efficiency in getting the arrangements done. So, as what we have planned, the house paintings’ work starts at Week 5. Hope they can do a nice paint job for us! Very looking forward to the outcome after the paint ~

Progress @ Week 5:

 

Marching into Week 6 of renovation, we are getting very near to get our home-sweet-home ready!

Nico's Growing Up Portraits @ Week 10

17th February 2012:

We brought Nico for his Baby's Portraits @ 10 weeks' old... Hope one day when Nico grows up, he will like this set of photos which we took for him ~

Daddy and Mummy LOVE you!!

House Renovation @ Week 2 & 3

We are glad the contractor and workers that we are engaging are doing their job on schedule. It has 3 weeks since they started their job. Well, so far so good! The work that they schedule for us are running on time and a few are ahead of time too.

Progress @ Week 2:

After done with the wiring works, the renovation workers started the plaster ceilings @ Week 2. We use the simpler designs for the master bedroom and living room to save some cost. 

 

 

The kitchen is almost done with the tiling up work and flooring... This is my most concern area in the whole house so I must make sure everything is done properly. Luckily Hubby is giving me full authority to do what I want for the kitchen. But of course, everything must be within his budget!

Progress @ Week 3:

Yesterday we went to monitor the renovation works. They have settled the plaster ceilings and are touching up them with paints. The contractor told us, by Monday, all the plaster ceilings should be settled! Yeah…. after this, the workers can move on to another part of renovations.

The walls for the Kitchen and the 2 Toilets are done by Week 3! We have decided to tile up all the walls in the toilets and kitchen and these are how they look like before touching up ~

Yesterday the house interior designer arranged us to meet up with the man who is going to do our build-in furniture. He did his measurements and told us how the kitchen and living room cabinets will be displayed. We also met up with the Painter to discuss on the painting work and asked him to give us a quotation so that we can make a comparison on pricing.

Well, marching into the Week 4 of renovation soon... Hope we can see more results coming up very soon!
