A Little Peep on my Pre-Wedding Photo...

I was planning to prepare a slideshow for my wedding dinner. So I requested the bridal house to send me one photo first so that I can plan for the slideshow. The rest of our pre-wedding photos can only be taken when we take our wedding album end of next month...

Hehehe.. so need to wait for about 3 more weeks lor.. A little peep first for now ^_^

~ Penang Food ~

Finally I have some time sitting down, upload some photos from my Penang trip..

This trip is to go collect gown, while a short makan-makan trip... Too bad, Penang was having heavy rain on Friday nite, so we only managed to drop by one coffeshop which sold my favourite food.. ~chu chiong chok~... BUt we ordered lots of food too... got char keow teow, sotong kangkung, satay, hokkien mee, etc, etc.. but too busy eating so only managed to snap 2 photos.. Hehe...

The next day, we had nasi kandar as lunch before driving back Taiping... Hubby likes to eat nasi kandar, so his brother bring us to the Nasi Kandar Kampong Melayu to try out the food there. The shop is situated among some malay flats. The place although looks a bit dirty, the food not bad la.. Me had roti canai too. But roti canai so-so lor..

Hehe... now I am at Taiping, writing my blog ~~ Hubby and I came back to Taiping on Thursday night after work. We came back to settle some wedding stuffs and confirmed on hotels and florist. Supposingly going back KL this evening, as hubby needs to work tomorrow. But he is now down with flu, so he decided to drive back KL early in the morning tomorrow. He needs to go back office a while tomorrow.

Thursday night once we reached, food were ready for us. Hubby's parents tapao Taiping 'Kai see meen' for us as supper. So sweet of them...

Friday morning, after breakfast, hubby's parents followed us to go to Kamalodge Resort to settle the hotel rooms for us. Paid the deposit to secure our rooms and booking. Scare later they booked wrongly for us again. Then, we went to Irene's Florist, confirmed our wedding hall decorations, flower arch, backdrop and also hand bouquet for myself. So, settled 2 important things already. After that, we went back home and packed some clothes to go to Penang.

When we reach Penang, we straight go to Cecilia's shop to collect my evening gown for my bride's side wedding dinner. Thanks to Cecilia!! She got me a simple yet very nice gown. Mum-in-law and hubby also said I looked nice on the gown. So me very happy. Hehehe ~~ Penang was raining after we collected the gown. So very difficult for us to eat dinner. But lucky, hubby stopped by the coffeeshop which I used to eat my favourite porridge. So we had our dinner there, ordered a lot of different food to eat. Hahaha.. I will update the photos again when I get back to KL..

As it was raining, and Penang bridge was super jam with lots of cars, so we decided to stay one night at hubby's aunt house and drive back Taiping on the next day...

Ok for now, will update some photos here when I go back KL tomorrow. Now a bit tired, I need to take a nap first. Tonight will go out eat dinner with hubby's parents...

Belated Birthday Dinner with Hubby

On Monday, hubby told me, 'Hey dear, this Thursday I take leave ok bor??'... And me of course ask him why lor.. Hehehe.. And he gave me a very surprise answer, which I never expected... He told me, since on my birthday he was sick, didn't get to celebrate with me, so Thursday he will take leave, then fetch me from work at KLCC (as I will be there for a conference), then bring me to a Spanish restaurant for my belated birthday dinner ~~

And me, of course after hearing that, feel so sweet and happy... At that moment, 我真的感觉好幸福 ooooo ^_^

Finally Thursday arrived, as promised, hubby really punctual... Reached KLCC at around 5pm to fetch me. It was raining heavily at that time. KL was so jam because of the rain, so we reached the restaurant at 5.45pm. But then, hehe... restaurant not yet open for dinner orders yet.. Aiyo, my hubby didn't check properly become bring me. Haha... but is ok la.. so we drove to KLCC again for a short shopping trip while passing by time. Then drove to the retaurant again after 6.30pm... We should be their first customer as outside still raining.

The restaurant hubby brings me is at Asian Heritage Row, named 'Palacio'. It serves Southern French and Spanish cuisine. I think hubby knew that I always wanna try Spanish food, that's why brought me there... So sweet of him ~~

We ordered 2 appetizers, 2 main dishes and 3 drinks. Hehehe.... lucky we didn't pre-order any dessert, if not sure cannot finished. The restaurant has a big screen. We watched a delayed football match, Belgium vs Spain, while eating our dinner.

Food is really yummy, and so does my Flavour Ice Latte. It has a few varieties of flavours. But I chose to mix with 'Amaretto'. According to the waiter, Amaretto is a sweet almond-flavoured liqueur of Italian origin. It is made from a base of apricot or almond pits, or sometimes both..
This dish is really nice... especially the mashed sweet potato ~~

Education Roadshow at Melaka cum Short Trip

Date: 11th & 12th October 2008

Last Saturday, hubby fetched me to Kolej Matrikulasi Melaka at Masjid Tanah for an education roadshow. As Friday night, PJ was so heavily rain and everywhere seemed to be in a jam, so we decided to postpone our journey to Saturday morning 6am instead of Friday night.

We drove to Melaka at around 6.20am after our breakfast at McDonald, and exited at Alor Gajah toll house about 7.30am. I thought that we have reached slightly earlier, but never did I expect that the journey from the toll house to the Kolej Matrikulasi Melaka was such a long and narrow road. we drove for almost near to 40 minutes before we actually reached the destination.

Finally, we reached and the roadshow was quite a successful one. Hubby was quite a helpful assistant, he distributed leaflets for me, helped me explained to the students our website's membership details, etc. Thank you, dear, for your kind assistant and be my driver to Melaka!!
The photos looked a bit blur coz the hall was using some fans that can blow out water. So the photos full with water spots. Hehehe...

After the education roadshow ended, we drove to Melaka town, checked into Baba House hotel located at Jonkers Street. Rested for a long time before we went out to find our dinner. Hahaha... Had nyonya food as dinner... and also walked around Jonkers Street for fun ~~

8th October 2008 ~ My Birthday Celebrations with Colleagues

Hehehe... one of the things I love the most about my office is, every year without fail, my colleagues and bosses sure will remember my birthday, never fail to buy me a birthday cake. Hahaha!! One thing which I guess is because all of us also like to eat, so we will make sure every one remember each other birthday so that we can have another round of eating again ~~ Wuahahaha... Thank you to my lovely colleagues and bosses!! Now is offce hour, so cannot update much, just drop by a while... To be continued later when I am at home tonight ~~ Stay tune ^_^
Ok.. now about 9pm, back to home after eating dinner with my bro, Alan and our housemate, Ah Wei... My hubby today is sick, so cannot join us for the dinner. Too bad, but he said tomorrow he will buy me my birthday dinner back. Hehehe... Hope he can bring me to a nice place to eat lor ~~

Sheau Su is here in KL ~~

These 2 days Sheau Su is here in KL with Zher Rem, since today is public holiday, so last night and this morning, I brought him around to jalan-jalan cari makan.

He and Zher Rem like to eat Japanese food, so we went to Umaiya, a Japanese restaurant at Uptown for dinner last night... Food not bad la... quite nice. We ordered quite a lot of dishes and slowly eat and chat.

This morning I brought him to Klang to eat bak kut teh at Lai Choon Bak Kut Teh shop... A lot of people when we reached, but luckily we did not need to wait for very long for our food. Hehehe... Yummy-Yummy ~~ Sheau Su and Zher Rem seem enjoying so did Zhi Shan :)

Then I sent them to One Utama for shopping session before I went to Romantic Bridal House to view my wedding album designs. Hehehe...
