Today, our plans were Ameya Yokocho, Asakusa & Shinjuku. Ameya Yokocho is about 15 minutes walk from our hotel. So it is very nearby. Ameya Yokocho is a shopping street down the hill from Ueno station and close by to Ueno Park. It has a lot of great bargains things here. My advice is to bring more cash to go if you are looking for cheap clothing, dried food products, souvenirs, shoes and bags! It is a place which I personally feel that can spend more time in it. However, as we had only little time here in the morning, so Hubby said, we would come back again later at night if time permitted.

So, after some good buys we had at Ameya Yokocho, we walked to the Ueno Station to take the train to Asakusa. As today was a public holiday in Japan, so taking trains seemed to be much more easier, at least we did not need to squeeze with the working crowd. We took the the JR Yamanote Line to Kanda Station and then transfer to the Ginza Subway Line for Asakusa.
Asakusa is a very famous tourist spot in Tokyo. So, we sure cannot miss it. A must GO place!

We saw the trishaw rides. But it is a bit expensive I find. If I am not mistaken, they charge by spots. One tourist spot / station is ¥3,000 per ride. Of course, if you want to go more places, the fees are higher. So, we did not opt for this option. We chose to walk, more ‘wallet-friendly’. Hehe :)
Along the Nakamise, it was really very crowded. We hardly can walk through it. But they were so many things to see and so many types of snacks to try. So no choice, still need to squeeze in the crowd and eat and buy and eat and buy! What a satisfying day ~
And finally we reached Sensoji temple. It was really ‘people mountain, people sea’…. The same procedure before entering into the temple, we need to clean ourselves first.

After the prayers, we came out from the temple and took the train to our next destinations, SHINJUKU and KABUKI-CHO!
Once we reached Shinjuku Station, along the walk ways, there were so many things to see. So the walking did not seem to be tiring. We walked passed by some Gentlemen Clubs and Girls Bar. Stopped by a while to take some photos there. Hehe…
Then, we walked to the Takashimaya. We did not really spend time there as there were a lot of nice shops on the street. One of them is the BIC CAMERA and another shop is called ‘L-Breath’. This shop, I think it has 7-storeys, which sells a lot of things for open-air sports. A lot of backpacker’s essentials and equipments you can find there. You name it, they have it! It is really an eye-opening shop ~ We spent some time there exploring some goodies.

I personally feel that, this MOS BURGER is worth a visit. Their burgers are damn nice and the bread they use are very soft. I am someone who does not like to eat burgers, but I am in love with it!! Really Yummy-licious ~
Oh ya, Hubby tried to get me a teddy bear when we passed by the Ameya Yokocho at night on our way back to the hotel. Well, after a few rounds and used up all the coins that we had (since we were not going to use it anymore on the next day), he still failed to catch one for me. Haha... Never mind then ~ Try again next time.
Finally, our last day in Japan ended with exploring their Anime Centres at Akihabara ~ We walked in a few shops and so amazed with the anime figurines they sold at their shops. They were all very beautiful and colourful as well!! So difficult to choose which one to buy. But finally, Hubby bought these two figurines ~ A really good buy! Both of us like it so much ^_^

Note: Today is the final sight-seeing day we have in Tokyo. So we make use of every hour that we have. I think we have covered almost everything we have planned earlier to visit in Tokyo. A very fruitful and joyful trip we had!
