Date: 12th October 2010
Holidays finally came an end. Six days passed just like that.... So fast ~
I am leaving on a jet plane, donno when I will be back again!
Yesterday, when we passed by the Ueno Station, we saw this Skyliner signboard at the station. It is going to Narita Airport. Hubby and I decided to walk in to get some information and its schedule of time. After the explanation from the friendly receptionist at the information counter, we bought our train tickets for today at 10am. The whole journey from Ueno Station to Narita Airport will take about 40 minutes. More about this Narita Sky ACCESS can be read at: http://www.keisei.co.jp/keisei/tetudou/skyliner/us/.
After our breakfast at the hotel, after some final photos taking at the hotel, we packed our luggage for the final round to make sure nothing was left behind. So, the farewell day is finally here ^_^
From our hotel to walk to the Ueno Station only takes about 15-20 minutes. As we reached there quite early, we went to the nearby park to have a look. The morning bazaar is yet to open. So nothing much to see. We only had a short walk at the park and then we continued our walking journey to the train station.
At the train station, Hubby saw this standing signboard and wanted to take a picture of it... Hehe... I think maybe wanted to show it to his colleaguea back in KL ~
After wandering and sitting at the platform for about half an hour, the train is finally here. Very sharp on its time. Once the train arrived, the cleaners went in to clean the train. A very comfortable train ~ All seatings have a reserved number. So make sure you sit at the correct deck.
We reached Narita Airport at 10.40am as estimated.
However, the MAS counter is only opened for checking–in on 11am. We had a short wait. After checking-in, we walked around the airport to explore it and of course to buy some duty free things there. A lot of things to see but we didn't manage to explore everything. We need to be at the departure gate by 1.00pm.
So, the time to really say bye-bye to Tokyo was finally arrived. I need to board the plane and fly back to the face the world of reality life soon ~~
Expenses on Day 6 -
Skyliner Train Tickets: ¥2,400 x 2
TOTAL: ¥4,800
Note: Try not to squeeze your luggage until too thick. It might not be able to fit into the train station's lockers. Hehe... we are a very good example. On the last day, our luggage was quite thick. We fully make use of the maximum space we have in the bag and ended up we couldn't squeeze it into the locker. So, we need to carry it around when we were walking in the station.
Holidays are over!! Sob-sob ~~ Wondering when is the next one?? But on the other side, the HAPPY thing is, Kimi is at Malaysia waiting for us… Finally can see Kimi after so many days! Luckily he can still recognize his Daddy and Mummy when we pick him up at Taiping :) Good boy ~~
